What is a wardrobe capsule?
A wardrobe capsule is a curated collection of versatile, high-quality clothing pieces that all work together. The idea is to have fewer items that mix and match effortlessly, so you spend less time deciding what to wear and feel confident in every outfit. I'll help you build one tailored to your lifestyle, preferences, and budget.
Do I need to be local to work with you?
Not at all! Everything is done virtually. While I'm based in McLean, Virginia and many of my clients are in the DMV area, I work with clients everywhere. The entire process — from intake to delivery — happens online, so geography is never a barrier.
How do virtual consultations work?
After you complete the style intake form, we'll schedule a video call where I'll learn more about your style goals, discuss your wardrobe challenges, and answer any questions. If you prefer, you can opt for an intake-only approach where I work from your form responses without a video call.
Which package is right for me?
It depends on your goals. The Seasonal Refresh ($300) is great for a quick update with a few key pieces. The Total Look ($600) is our most popular option for a complete head-to-toe styling. The Closet Edit ($500) focuses on organizing what you already own. And The Signature Reset ($1,000) is a full wardrobe rebuild. Not sure? Reach out and I'll help you decide.
What measurements do I need to provide?
In the intake form, I'll ask about your general sizing (tops, bottoms, shoes, bra size) and your height. You don't need exact measurements — your typical clothing sizes are all I need to make accurate recommendations. I'll also ask about fit preferences and any body areas you'd like to highlight or minimize.
What if recommended items sell out or are unavailable?
Retail availability can change quickly. If an item I've recommended sells out, I'm not responsible for restocking or finding replacements. However, I always include multiple options and alternatives in your style guide so you'll have backup choices at different price points.
What's your cancellation and refund policy?
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. If you cancel more than 48 hours before your scheduled consultation, you'll receive a full deposit refund. Cancellations within 48 hours result in a forfeited deposit. One reschedule is permitted with at least 24 hours' notice. No-shows are charged the full service fee.
How long does it take to receive my style guide?
Most clients receive their personalized style guide within 14 business days of their consultation. The guide includes curated product recommendations, outfit combinations, and styling tips — all delivered as a PDF to your email.
What happens after I receive my recommendations?
Your style guide is yours to keep and shop from at your own pace. After delivery, you'll have 3 follow-up questions within 14 days and minor revisions for 30 days. Shopping decisions are entirely yours — I provide the recommendations, you choose what to buy.
Do you offer ongoing styling support?
Each package includes follow-up support (3 questions within 14 days, minor revisions for 30 days). Beyond that, you're welcome to book a new package anytime. Ongoing retainer arrangements may be available in the future — feel free to reach out to discuss.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept credit card, debit card, Zelle, and cash. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to book your appointment, with the remaining 50% due upon completion — before your style guide is delivered.
